Falling Silent...
I look outside my window tonight,
A gentle silent glow of street lamps,
The world is pools of light on soft new white,
All around every lamp a halo of star dust falling,
Christmas lights glowing off in the distance,
I quiet I celebrate the union of Air and Water falling on Earth,
Illuminated by the soft glow of Fire,
Not a sound but my breath trying to fog the window,
The hush of the season asleep all around me,
Children will wake up soon enough,
For now they slumber peacefully,
All the World is falling silent,
My waking dream.
