BETSY'S Fruit Bread Recipe Without Nuts
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 cups packed dark brown sugar
2 cups pumpkin purée
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
⅔ cup flaked coconut sprinkled on top or powdered sugar
Mix all in a large bowl - 2 loaf pans
350 degrees for about 1 hour & 10 minutes
( you can add 1 cup of chopped nuts if you and your family can tolerate them)
