Five Palms Cafe Morning...
The breeze gently wafts through the lanai,
Palms sway in eraly sunlight over yellow sands,
White foam rolls over the turquoise in drumbeat waves,
Wahini and kane paddle outriggers past bathers,
We sip Kona coffee and eat orchid petals.
Crab and avocado omelette swims in hollandaise surf,
Pineapple salsa taco salad and guava jam,
Hawaiian toast is sweet.
Aloha to the blue water and sun,
To the soft yellow sands and clouded peaks,
A turtle dove coos begging at my feet.
Mahalo for this rainbow life,
Let us swim in these translucent rolling seas.
