Rock Show...

By the eternal glow of the full Moon,
We sailed along the land,
The incessant hum of tires,
Overshadowed by radio magic,
Drifting station to station,
The miles rolling by,
Like the coffee down my throat,
Unseen but delicious,
Amidst all the songs,
Punctuated by highway hypnosis and alligator yawns,
We were driven,
Gliding through the hidden Smokies,
Until the red lights sent us off the beaten path,
Road spill closed interstate,
We worked our way around,
South was the force driving us elemental.
