The Word Tornado:I spun a poem, You spun a poem, They spun a poem, That spun a new poem outta me, That spun a new poem outta you, That they spun a new poem from, And the ideas all bunch up, Waiting to drop into the funnel, That the Muses hold over, Each poets head, Laughing, At the pretty word tornado, As it whirls through the idea garden, Throwing up all those leaves and branches.
