Writing to The Silence

Our souls we bare, in pieces there, not directly to a soul, yet directly to every soul.
In our way, we have to say, the things that lurk and shine inside.
The only answers we hear, a one sided conversation, speaking to the silence inside us.
Loud is the call of the silence, long the ride.
Fill it up, with letters that we trust, stirring through the dust, in the corners of kind resonating minds.
Our spirits cry out, to be heard, remembered, cherished.
In the end what we know is silence.
We write to the silence, letters carry us on, for futures unknown to ponder.
Write, write, letters to the silence.
That way, in pieces day by day, some how we can know you.
There is a little bit of love hidden there, just in the knowing.
Oh won't you write your letters to the silence today?

We all go, but do we go on? Writing leaves at least shadows of us in the collective soul.
